Product Description : Anionic polyacrylamide powder or granular

JINYU PHPA HA2100 is a high molecular weight anionic Partially Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide (PHPA) supplied as a dry granular powder .When added to water-based drilling fluids, this specially processed polymer disperses rapidly allowing hydration to occur without the formation of lumps or ” fish eyes”.

Typical Application

JINYU PHPA HA2100 is applicable for use in water based drilling fluids, as a water shutoff agent, viscosifier, shale stabilizer, encapsulating agent and flocculant. This product is functional in fresh water, seawater, KCI brine, and salt (NaCI) water based drilling fluids. JINYU PHPA HA2100 is a versatile polymer which is easy to mix .The main function of PHPA is to encapsulate cuttings to prevent them from hydrating.

Recommended Treatment

While drilling ,maintain the active PHPA concentration of the system at >1 lb/bbl(2.8kg/ m³) by constant additions.

For flocculant and water well drilling purposes use 0.5-1 lb/bbl(1.4-2.8kg/ m³).  

Handling

Consult MSDS before use and use personal protective equipment as advised.

Storage

Store in closed containers, at ambient temperatures, in a ventilated area, protected from precipitation. Long term outside storage should be avoided to prevent deterioration of package and labeling.

Packaging

JINYU PHPA HA2100 is packaged in 25kg (55.1lb)multi walled polythene lined bags.Stored in dry location away from sources of heat or ignition,and minimize  dust.
